On this tour we explore the Marino Ballena National Park, searching for marine wildlife such as the Pacific spotted dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and turtles. Observe the land formations of Ballena Island ( whale rock ) and Tres Hermanas Islets and their local inhabitants, the brown booby , frigate birds and green iguanas. If the visibility of the water is good we will do some snorkeling near the whale island, also referred to as “whale rock,” or in the reefs of Punta Uvita ( known as Whale’s Tail ) but if conditions are not good it will be just a break for swimming and relaxing in warm ocean .
Additionally on this trip, we’ll pass by the incredible natural formation of the whale’s tail, a brief pass by Ventanas beach to see the wonderful marine caves that were carved by the ocean.
Throughout the entirety of this trip, you’ll enjoy the wonderful landscape that the Ballena national park has to offer.
Please note: Unfortunately, this is NOT “whale season,” so we cannot guarantee that you’ll see any whales on this trip, but we’ll explore the ocean for other marine life.
